We knew that to create real, tangible change, we needed to take action, and we needed to do it together. Today, we are beyond thrilled to announce a monumental step in that journey. The registration for our very first flagship international initiative—Delegation Turkey 2013—is officially open!

This is not just another conference. This delegation embodies our core mission: uniting youth worldwide to collaborate on global sustainability challenges. We are calling on passionate young individuals who are worried about the future of our planet but are determined not to wait for tomorrow to act. For our inaugural international delegation, we have chosen a theme that reflects both the location and our organizational goals. We will focus on how local actions can address global environmental and social crises. We believe that by working together, we can create solutions that tackle global challenges. This delegation will challenge you to think critically about sustainability, social justice, and bridging cultural divides to foster true, lasting innovation.

Why Turkey? The Perfect Crossroads

Turkey is a nation that historically and geographically bridges continents, cultures, and ideas. At the intersection of Europe and Asia, it's a fitting metaphor for what we aim to achieve: bridging differences and bringing diverse minds together.

Istanbul and Ankara will serve as our classrooms. You will experience the rich cultural heritage of these cities while exploring modern initiatives in urban sustainability and youth empowerment. Turkey’s dynamic environment will provide a vibrant backdrop for deep discussions, cultural exchange, and collaborative problem-solving.

What to Expect: A Comprehensive Leadership Journey

This program is designed around our philosophy of "Empowerment through Delegation." You will not just be sitting in lecture halls; you will be actively shaping the experience. The agenda is packed with opportunities designed to sharpen your skills:

• Leadership Development Workshops: Participate in intensive, hands-on seminars led by international experts, NGO founders, and sustainability advocates. You will learn how to draft community projects, manage grassroots campaigns, and lead with empathy.

• Cultural Immersion & Field Studies: We will visit historical landmarks, local community centers, and environmental projects. Understanding the local context is crucial to developing a global mindset.

• Networking Opportunities: Connecting with others is a cornerstone of our community. You will share a space with young leaders from every corner of the world, building a network of like-minded peers that will support you for years to come.

• The 'Action for Change' Project: The delegation will culminate in a collaborative project in which delegates will form teams to draft actionable social-impact proposals. The best proposals will receive mentorship and support for implementation in your home countries.

We are looking for young people who believe they can lead the way. You do not need to have a perfect resume or years of experience. What you need is:

• A genuine passion for the planet and a desire to tackle social and environmental issues.

• A collaborative spirit and a willingness to learn from people with different backgrounds and ideas.

• The drive to bring what you learn back to your local community to create a "Global Reach, Local Impact."

Application Process & Timeline

Taking the first step is easy, but the journey requires dedication. Here is how you can secure your spot in Delegation Turkey 2013:

1. Submit Your Application: Fill out the online registration form on our portal. You will be asked to write a brief essay outlining your vision for a sustainable future and explaining why you want to join this delegation.

2. Virtual Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a brief online interview with our core team. This is a chance for us to get to know the person behind the application.

3. Final Selection: Successful delegates will receive their official Letter of Acceptance and an onboarding package to help them prepare for the trip.
